Listen the music of life !

Image
Have you ever watched kids o n a merry-go-round ? Or listened to the rain s lapping on the ground ? Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight ? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night ? You better slow down,  d on’t dance so fast; Time is short,  t he music won’t last. Do you run through,  e ach day on the fly ? When you ask “How are you ?”,  Do you hear the reply ? When the day is done,  d o you lie in your bed; With the next hundred chores,  r unning through your head ? You would better slow down,  d on’t dance so fast; Time is short,  t he music won’t last. Ever told your child,  w e will do it tomorrow ? And in your hast,  Not see his sorrow ? Ever lost touch,  l et a good friendship die; Cause you never had time,  t o call and say “Hi” ? You would better slow down,  d on’t dance so fast; Time is short,  t he music won’t last. When you run so fast to get somewhere; You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day; It is like an unopened gift…

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the first interview, the director did the last interview, made the last decision. The director discovered from the CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, Never had a year when he did not score. The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" The youth answered "none". The director asked, " Was it your father who paid for your school fees?" The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees." The director asked, " Where did your mother work?" The youth answered, "My mother worked as clothes cleaner. The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect. The director

The one you feed !

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, confidence, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.' The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: 'Which wolf wins?' The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'  So always think positive and be the master of self not the slave. Who looks outside, dreams; Who looks inside, awakes. ~ Carl Jung

Delight Eternal

These are few drops from the ocean of infinite (Upanishads) (1) Transliteration : Yo vai bhuma tat sukham, Nalpe sukham asti, Bhumaiva sukham. ...Upanishada... Translation : The Infinite is the satisfying happiness. In the finite no happiness can ever breathe. The Infinite alone is the fulfilling happiness. Meaning : The Life Infinite is the Delight Infinite. The finite is a stranger to the infinite Happiness. Infinity without Delight means the creation without a Creator. Indeed, this is absurd. Delight without Infinity means the Creator without the creation. Indeed, this is equally absurd. (2) Transliteration : Anandadd hy eva khalv imani bhutani jayante, Anandena jatani jivanti Anandam prayantyabhisam visanti...Upanishada... Translation : From Delight we came into existence. In Delight we grow. At the end of our journey’s close, Into Delight we retire. Meaning : God has written an open letter to His human children. His letter runs: “My

Awaken us from ignorance

Behold, Usha... the beautiful dawn... Heaven’s darling daughter decked in pure pious white, the goddess of worldly wealth in its entirety has slowly emerged in her magnificence and vermilion splendor to brighten the eastern hemisphere! Oh, the most lovely and lucky lady of golden hue and luster, spread your light here and everywhere to awaken us from the deep inertia of ignorance. ~ Rig Veda

Don't cry; enjoy.

Image
A wise man once sat in the audience & cracked a joke. All laughed like crazy. After a moment he cracked the same joke again and a little less people laughed this time. He cracked the same joke again & again, when there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said, “When u can’t laugh on the same joke again & again, then why do u keep crying over the same thing over and over again” Life is small and moments are less.. Don't waste it ...Just enjoy... Tell problems you have a big God !

Image
Two men went fishing. One was an experienced fisherman, the other wasn't. Every time the experienced fisherman caught a big fish, he put it in his ice chest to keep it fresh. Whenever the inexperienced fisherman caught a big fish, he threw it back. The experienced fisherman watched this go on all day and finally got tired of seeing the man waste good fish. Why do you keep throwing back all the big fish you catch he asked. The inexperienced fisherman replied, I only have a small frying pan. Sometimes, like that fisherman, we throwback the big plans, big dreams, big jobs, big opportunities that God gives us. Our faith is too small. We laugh at that fisherman who didn't figure out that all he needed was a bigger frying pan, yet how ready are we to increase the size of our faith. Whether it's a problem or a possibility, God will never give you anything bigger than you can handle. That means we can confidently walk into anything God brings our way. You

Unending love

Image
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times... In life after life, in age after age, forever. My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs, That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms, In life after life, in age after age, forever. Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, it's age old pain, It's ancient tale of being apart or together. As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge, Clad in the light of a pole-star, piercing the darkness of time. You become an image of what is remembered forever. You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount. At the heart of time, love of one for another. We have played along side millions of lovers, Shared in the same shy sweetness of meeting, the distressful tears of farewell, Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever. To Make You Win

Image
Do not give up and do not give in, For hope is there to make you win. Whether through trouble or through pain, The lesson should never be in vain. Starting through the night, It might feel you have lost sight. But behold just a few moments more, And light will break through with a roar. Do not give up and do not give in, For hope is there to make you win. Anonymous

Hope is the thing with feathers

Image
Hope is like a lighthouse in the midst of the stormy sea. However the dark and deep the night is, hope never lets us lose a heart. It always inspires us to sail on. Hope is like rays of dawn which fades all darkness and glorify everything. Here in this poem, bird is being described as a metaphor of hope. This hope bird resides in everyone. And it signs the song of divinity in the time of strain and stress. In troubles and hassles, hope never lets us lay down. Hope gives courage to rise again. It’s really a hopeful poem: Hope is the thing with feathers   That perches in the soul,   And sings the tune without the words,   And never stops at all,      And sweetest in the gale is heard;           And sore must be the storm   That could abash the little bird   That kept so many warm.      I’ve heard it in the chillest land,   And on the strangest sea;          Yet, never, in extremity,   It asked a crumb of me. ~ Emily Dickinson The commentary of the poem: Hope is a bird with feathers;

The little fluit

Image
Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This frail vessel thou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with fresh life. This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new. At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable. Thy infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still thou pourest, and still there is room to fill. By Rabindranath Tagore

Person hindering your growth is dead !

Image
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written: “Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral”. In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself. The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: “Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!” One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coff

Self Esteem

No one can hurt you without your consent. On the first day, as President Abraham Lincoln entered to give his inaugural address, just in the middle, one man stood up. He was a rich aristocrat. He said, “Mr. Lincoln, you should not forget that your father used to make shoes for my family.” And the whole Senate laughed; they thought they had made a fool of Abraham Lincoln. But Lincoln --- and that type of people are made of a totally different mettle. Lincoln looked at the man and said, “Sir I know that my father used to make shoes in your house for your family, and there will be many others here…. Because the way he made shoes; nobody else can. He was a creator. His shoes were not just shoes; he poured his whole soul in it. I want to ask you, have you any complaint? Because I know how to make shoes myself. If you have any complaint I can make another pair of shoes. But as far as I know, nobody has ever complained about my father’s shoe
