An attitude

As I think and grow, I understand the impact of an attitude in life. An attitude is more important than reality. It is more valuable than education or money, success or failure, skills or appearance & what others say or act. An attitude is higher than everything. It can make or break. It can create or destroy. Ultimately it plays a vital role in building a life.
Remarkable thing is that we are the in-charge of our attitude and we have a choice to have it positive or negative. We can’t avoid the inevitable, but we can do one thing that is to play with an attitude. Who can play with own attitude is the master of self. So if we want to master the self then we must learn how to master an attitude.The man with a mastery of an attidue can overcome any obstacle and rule over any circumstance that falls in life. “Mastering others is strength, but mastering self is true power.” Lao Tzu

"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference."

Attitude determines altitude

It is wisely said that "Attitude determines altitude." It is very interesting to know that what winners say and what losers say. After all what we say reflects our attitude. Think and decide what category I belong to. And If anyone find that he needs to change ... then change what we think and say and be a winner. It is too simple to act.
The Winner is always part of the answer;
The Loser is always part of the problem.
The Winner always has a program;
The Loser always has an excuse.
The Winner says, “Let me do it for you”; The Loser says, “That is not my job.”
The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer.
The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it is possible”; The Loser says, “It may be possible but it is too difficult.”
When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”;
When a Loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn't my fault.”
A Winner makes commitments;
A Loser makes promises.
Winners have dreams;
Losers have schemes.
Winners s…

Spring of Happiness

It is interesting to know... which country is the happiest country in the world... refer the link below..
It inspires us to think......
We have rich and divine heritage of Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita... How many Gods we believe in India... How many religions we follow in India... How many rituals, customs and traditions we follow in India.... If we have the most ancient and rich heritage... If we have so many Gods and Religions... If we are following such good rituals and customs... Then why we are sad and unhappy. India must be the 1st in the list... But India has 70th position. Still we need to Introspect...
Why it is so... Because we don't understand where the happiness is... We are trying to find it somewhere outside.. somewhere in the materialistic objects. If happiness lies in worldly articles and ornaments then, who possess it, must be happy. But we see in the society that those who have big banglow, big bank…

Failure is a stepping stone

“My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure.” - Abraham Lincoln

Failure can either break us or make us. Those broken by failure are haunted by unpleasant memories. These memories are like shadows that lurk in front, behind, beside, beneath and above. It is also a cage that traps the mind, preventing it to entertain possibilities of freedom and success. They are convinced that they cannot do it; therefore, they will not try.

For those that failure could not break are those who became made “men.” Failure to them is not a ghost, but a friend who taught them well. It is also a stepping stone to wisdom. These men and women are convinced that true failure only happens when one gives up.

History has been kind to President Abraham Lincoln. He has been painted as probably the greatest president of the United States of America. It is the good thing that history also recorded his failures. It reflected his frail humanity but also showed his attitu…

The 90/10 Principle

Have you read this before ? Are you hesitated by people or circumstances around you ? Are you losing your balance of mind in adverse situation ? Do you want to keep your mind healthy ? This principle will help a lot. It says that 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?

We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example. You are eating breakfast with your family. Your
daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the…
