Faith helps to sail through the storm

Years ago, I was enthralled as I listened to a pastor who for several years had faithfully served the church. His executive responsibilities had taken him all over this country. As he concluded his message, he told of one of the most frightening yet thought-provoking experiences of his life. He had been on a long flight from one place to another. In the midst of storm don't be afraid but face boldly. God blesses us with adversities to reinforce.   But the nature of mind is flickering. It may deviate in negativity. I realized three stages of mental state in the danger for upliftment. Adversity is Distress. Adversity is a Difficulty. Adversity is a Blessing. First one is frustrating. We get disturbed in it. We are doom in it. The second one faces it with hesitation but comes out of it. While the last one doesn't complain, even he enjoys and learn from it. He blesses God to gift him such an opportunity to strengthen self. So never give up. Don't be a victim. Fight and learn from it and come up as a winner. Here are underpinning quotes by great people to inspire self. ***** A serene fortitude in the face of d
