An interview with God

Once upon a time, a man dreamed of an interview with God. Isn’t it astonishing to know; what kind of questions would have been asked to God? It’s a wonderful imagination of questions and answers, gives the real meaning to the understanding of life.

In this race of success, we may forget the value of life and family. We may run after the material happiness and ignore the inner ecstasy. We may give priority to the profession, and forget to enjoy the colors of life. We may forget the nearness of God. This poem makes us realize it. It makes us think that what is important in life.

Here it goes:

I dreamed I had an interview with God.
"So, you would like to interview me?" God asked.
"If you have the time," I said.
God smiled. "My time is eternity; what questions do you have in mind to ask me?"
"What surprises you most about humankind?"
God answered:
"That they get bored with childhood -- they rush to grow up and then long to be children again.
That the…

Absence to abundance

Absence! deficiency! shortage! Are we tired of? Are we weary due to the same prolonged situation? This is the right post to read and come up. Arise and awake! Don’t sink into the situation. I came across these points to rejuvenate. Revitalize the self, it’s the only way to revive.
Life is gameplay. We must cultivate the player spirit. Whatever the game offers us, success or failure, we must accept it with a smiling face. We neither have to quit nor throw away. We must play on it.
God gifts us joy and woe to make us grow. We stuck and stop journey due to them. If it's pleasure, it boosts up enthusiasm. And if it's a pain, it makes us stronger. In both ways, God cares for us. When we go on with this clear understanding, life becomes easy.
Difficulties are blessings of God. God sends them to make us powerful and mighty. So don’t grumble during them, but ignite and make ways out of them. Learn from them. This is the best way to develop self from hurdles.
We may be dejected du…

Seagull the soul-bird

At a very early age, my well-wisher gave me a book: Jonathan Livingston Seagull. At an instance, it seems to be a story of a bird who flies recklessly and wasting time. But when the real meaning was revealed, I found the voyage of life within it.
It’s a wonderful story of a seagull bird, who was dissatisfied with life. He saw his flock fighting for livelihood. They were just existing. Nothing extra, nothing special. He realized that life is not for only existing. There must be more than just living. It’s about flying.
So it’s a story of self-realization and self-discovery. It’s about expressing perfection which is hidden within us all. We discussed a lot about it and concluded these six points. These are mind-changing and life-changing views. Here I am sharing with all.
1. Seagull is a soul-bird:
It’s not a story of a mere bird who flies rashly. It’s a story of an inner bird who lives within us all. It’s not only about living but flying. It’s about expressing perfection. It’s a story …

What we see is our reflection

A person asked a question to his Guru, "My workers are not true to me. My children, my wife, and the entire world are very selfish. Nobody is correct."
Guru smiled and told a story..., In one small village, there was a room with 1000 mirrors. One small girl used to go inside and play! Seeing thousands of children around her she was joyful.
She would clap her hands and all the 1000 children would clap back at her. She considered this place as the world's happiest n beautiful place and would visit often.
This same place was once visited by a sad and depressed person. He saw around him thousands of angry men staring at him. He got scared and raised his hands to hit them and in return 1000 hands lifted to hit him back.
He thought... this is the worst place in the world and left that place. This world is also a room with 1000 mirrors around us... What we let out of us is what the universe will give back to us!
"This world is heaven or hell. It's up to us what we make out …

The serene fortitude

When challenges arise, when difficulties shake, the attitude that can fortify is the fortitude. Fortitude is the strength of mind that enables us to endure adversity with courage. In the midst of storm don't be afraid but face boldly. God blesses us with adversities to reinforce.
But the nature of mind is flickering. It may deviate in negativity. I realized three stages of mental state in the danger for upliftment.
Adversity is Distress. Adversity is a Difficulty. Adversity is a Blessing.
First one is frustrating. We get disturbed in it. We are doom in it. The second one faces it with hesitation but comes out of it. While the last one doesn't complain, even he enjoys and learn from it. He blesses God to gift him such an opportunity to strengthen self.
So never give up. Don't be a victim. Fight and learn from it and come up as a winner. Here are underpinning quotes by great people to inspire self.
A serene fortitude in the face of disappointment and chagrin should be our …

Master of thought verses

It is wisely said that what we think we become. We must take care of our thoughts. What we think, we feel it. And it influences our actions. Company of good thoughts makes us the master of self. After all light of knowledge illumines.
Knowledge is the highest good. And the reason is the highest good. Intellect is the invaluable gift of God. Through the medium of intellect, only a man can rise or fall.
Here are a few verses and quotes selected to enlighten self. These are my favorite ones and gems of wisdom:
Watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become…habits. Watch your habits, for they become your character. And watch your character, for it becomes your destiny! What we think we become!
~ Lao Tzu
By Thought we rise; by Thought we fall; by Thought We stand or go: all destiny is wrought By its swift potency; and he who stands Master of Thought, and his desires commands, Willing and weaving thoughts of Love and …

I'll not look back

I’ll not look back for that is a useless effort, I can not live one moment of yesterday again, If I have wasted time and talents given If I have caused someone I love deep pain I can not change the words or acts by grieving But I can make today a shining light, Yesterday’s page with all mistakes I’ll turn away from And find before me a clean one on which to write. I’ll pray for strength to make today’s page spotless That tomorrow I’ll have no regret, And may God grant that all tomorrows My talents will be used for good, not one misspent.

If you are depressed you are living in the past, If you are anxious you are living in the future, If you are at peace you are living in the present. ~ Lao Tzu
Do not look back and grieve over the past; for it is gone,
