Here and now

Every moment we live in is new and refreshing. We can not experience the same moment again. If we put a hand in a river, we can not feel the same water all the time. The moment I speak one word, I can not experience the same moment even after uttering the same word again. Change occurs at every moment. It is not the same moment I live in. So it is said, “Only one thing is constant, it is change.” An awesome Subhashit in Sanskrit... Again a morning and again a night, again a moon and again a sun. Nothing passes but the youth. In spite of all, people do not realize. So I am here in the now and every moment is fresh and new. “Here & now” is “Fresh & new” these are simple words but when we realize

Man, the crown of God’s creation !

“Proclaim to the whole world with trumpet voice, there is no sin in you, there is no misery in you, you are the reservoir of omnipotent power. Arise, awake, and manifest the divinity within !” ~ Swami Vivekananda   This is a small story of a lion cub. It was in the same mental trap as we live whole life in. Mental fog is the biggest hurdle to see clearly.   There was once a baby lion left by its dying mother among some sheep. The sheep fed it and gave it shelter. The lion grew apace and said "Ba-a-a" when the sheep said "Ba-a-a". One day another lion came by. "What do you do here?" said the second lion in astonishment: for he heard the sheep-lion bleating with the rest. "Ba-a-a," said the other. "I am a little sheep, I am a little sheep, I am frightened." "Nonsense!" roared the first lion, "come with me; I will show you." And he took him to the side of a smooth stream and showed him that w

An attitude

Image
As I think and grow, I understand the impact of an attitude in life. An attitude is more important than reality. It is more valuable than education or money, success or failure, skills or appearance & what others say or act. An attitude is higher than everything. It can make or break. It can create or destroy. Ultimately it plays a vital role in building a life. Remarkable thing is that we are the in-charge of our attitude and we have a choice to have it positive or negative. We can’t avoid the inevitable, but we can do one thing that is to play with an attitude. Who can play with own attitude is the master of self. So if we want to master the self then we must learn how to master an attitude. The man with a mastery of an attidue can overcome any obstacle and rule over any circumstance that falls in life. “Mastering others is strength, but mastering self is true power.” Lao Tzu "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." ~ Winston Churchill &

Attitude determines altitude

Image
It is wisely said that "Attitude determines altitude." It is very interesting to know that what winners say and what losers say. After all what we say reflects our attitude. Think and decide what category I belong to. And If anyone find that he needs to change ... then change what we think and say and be a winner. It is too simple to act.  The Winner is always part of the answer; The Loser is always part of the problem.  The Winner always has a program; The Loser always has an excuse. The Winner says, “Let me do it for you”; The Loser says, “That is not my job.” The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer. The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it is possible”; The Loser says, “It may be possible but it is too difficult.” When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”; When a Loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn't my fault.” A Winner makes commitments; A Loser makes pr

Spring of Happiness

It is interesting to know... which country is the happiest country in the world... refer the link below.. http://www.livescience.com/51327-happiest-countries-list.html It inspires us to think...... We have rich and divine heritage of Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita... How many Gods we believe in India... How many religions we follow in India... How many rituals, customs and traditions we follow in India.... If we have the most ancient and rich heritage... If we have so many Gods and Religions... If we are following such good rituals and customs... Then why we are sad and unhappy. India must be the 1st in the list... But India has 70th position. Still we need to Introspect... Why it is so... Because we don't understand where the happiness is... We are trying to find it somewhere outside.. somewhere in the materialistic objects. If happiness lies in worldly articles and ornaments then, who possess it, must be happy. But we see in the society that those who hav
