Once upon a time, a man dreamed of an interview with God. Isn’t it astonishing to know; what kind of questions would have been asked to God? It’s a wonderful imagination of questions and answers, gives the real meaning to the understanding of life. In this race of success, we may forget the value of life and family. We may run after the material happiness and ignore the inner ecstasy. We may give priority to the profession, and forget to enjoy the colors of life. We may forget the nearness of God. We are living in the most technologically advanced age. In this emerging era of information technology, artificial intelligence has changed the face of our lives. We fly in the sky, we swim under the water, and we run fast upon the earth. What's not possible with the help of science and technology? But one thing we also need to consider is that the modern age has given birth to conflict with competition, stress with turmoils, and fear with uncertainty. Everyone is ambitious to be successful. In this race of success, we might be a victim of failures and setbacks. Unease and distress may agitate us. We may be stuck in our minds. So here is a kind of intelligence that can help us. In earlier times, only IQ was considered to be successful. But with time, experts realized that with IQ, man must nurture EQ to be successful. Now the new insights revealed that man must cultivate SQ as the core quality in life. Whatever happens in life, worst or best, if we have divine wisdom as an undercur

What we feel important in life? Name, fame, and money! We may run after material happiness for a whole life. Isn’t it the greatest illusion of our lives? What is finite, we seek it. What is infinite we ignore it. What is visible, we feel it’s truth. What is invisible, we feel it’s false. Actually, the truth is truth whether it’s seen or unseen. We need to awaken the self. We need to enlighten the self. We need to know the truth: what is never lasting and what is everlasting?      Here in this poem, the poet depicts the victory of the virtuous soul. Worldly possessions are short and having limitations. Of course, it gives happiness but it’s limited. While human virtues and values are limitless. They are invaluable and boundless. Faith, faith, faith. Faith in self and faith in God. And faith in invariant principles of the holy scriptures. Faith is one of the most important qualities in life. One who loses faith will be negative. And one who holds faith will be positive.  When we put effort and it doesn’t turn into success, we get disappointed. We may mourn and throb in pang. We may stop putting our forth. But when we have faith in the heart, we will try again. We will continue. Faith whispers: Try again, it will give result one day. One who has no faith will quit, but one who has faith will sail on calmly.  Failure may cause a loss of faith. The company of a negative and selfish people may cause a loss of faith. Or any other external factor may also cause it. But wherever we are, with whom so ever we are, it’s completely upon us to hold faith. Don’t let others overwhelm. What is noble? To inherit wealth? Having an estate? Possessing a high degree? What is truly noble? Let’s have a few thoughts with a noble poem. We find nobility in acts done for social welfare. We may find nobility in donating food, shelter, and clothes to the poor. We may find it in rescuing the needy from calamity. We may find it in helping others. Any act done out of kindness and mercy, we call it noble. But we may get fame out of it. Our ego may get boosted in giving. One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.  At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Hurry, worry and curry! Isn’t it describing our lives? We run behind the success and invite worries. We haste in achieving worldly possessions. And in celerity, we miss enjoying life. Life is beautiful, when we enjoy it fully.      Here is a wonderful poem about living a life with joy. The poet wonders in nature and loses petty cares. Among the play of winds and rustling of trees, among the singing of birds and humming of bees, he forgets niggling of life. Nature is the divine creation of God. Some complain; some excuse; some escape; but the brave faces. It’s easy to defend, it’s easy to flee, it’s easy to disappear, but it’s difficult to face. We may seek help when we are in difficulty. We may expect someone to come and rescue us. It creates an illusion in life. Never be dependent on others.  Awake and arise! Self-awareness is the beginning of wisdom. When almighty God is with us and within us, what else we need. Self-realization makes us self-reliant. Think and feel it. Always say: I am great, potential and divine. I can do anything and everything.  Here is a little poem in my mother tongue. It made me aware that I should never seek help outside. When we look within, we find an immersive source of worth and might. We have already been gifted with brain and brawn. Why expect someone, when we are able to save the self. Realize and reveal the undercurrent. Infuse the undaunted spirit within.  It’s a really self-awakeing poem:  આપણે ભરોસે આપણે ચાલીએ હો ભ
