Look to this day !

One should not mourn over the past and should not remain worried about the future. The wise operate in present. Wise people always say : Live in now. Life is all in today. But human nature is complicated. We regret over the past or envision about future. In all affairs, we miss the joy of today. When we regret yesterday, we offspring unease. When we envisage tomorrow, we descend worry. Our repentance or anxiety is not going to make any difference. Even it spoils our present. If I have distressed feeling about my past or anxious feeling about future, it makes me upset in present. So never muddle in past and puzzle in future. Everyone has dreams. We all gallop to fulfill them. And in the way we meet two things; success and failure. Human nature is to be cheerful in success and depressed in failure. Do not let success get to your head; do not let failure get to your heart. Don’t give up; just sail on. But how can it be possible ? When we succeed, we are jovial; when we fail, we are miserable. When we succeed, we slow down; when we fail, we quit. Moving on doesn’t mean not being jolly or gloomy; but not letting own self stuck there. “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” ~ Winston Churchill S...

Once two men met with an accident. With blessing of almighty they were saved but both lost one of the eyes. Situation was traumatic and painful. Relatives were coming to meet both of them for consolation. And behaviour of both the men was noticeable. One of them was crying a lot. He was full of distress due to his loss. He complained a lot for his grief. He was cursing God for his desolation. He tormented his mind with misery. He was full of sorrow and sadness. While one was very happy as his one eye was saved. He thanked a lot for his recovery. He was blessing God to be saved. He was smiling in such pain. He elated his mind with gratefulness. He was full of joy and mirth. Same is the situation at both sides. But one is complaining and one is blessing. It’s a state of mind that makes a vital variance. What I think and feel is my inner main. An immense truth to know is : I have freedom to choose my thinking. I am not a victim. I can direct my thoughts. It’s an abili...

He would not eat the food on his plate and at night he would toss and turn in his bed. One morning, the King refused to get out of bed. The Queen immediately called for the royal physician. He examined the King from head to toe and decided that there was nothing physically wrong with him. The Queen did not believe it. She called for other doctors from far away kingdoms, but they too said the same thing. The Queen did not give up, for she knew there was something very wrong with the King. There was one doctor left.
