Laziness is the crooked enemy and an endeavour is the intimate friend of a man. Because efforts never let a man die. When we work with faith, anything is possible. Even we can make a way in great odds. Faithful work can make a way in gigantic difficulties.   In life all days are not same. Difficulties and dangers are inevitable. No one can escape from them. When we fell in the clutch of circumstance; we afraid, we complain, we escape. We search for any one who can save us. We wonder everywhere ! But alas ! None comes to help. Even close friends, whom we relied most, turn their face. In such grim and gloom, who doesn’t leave, is faith. Faith in self and faith in God, have power to shake anything. And God has gifted us an ability to put efforts. Triumph is the greatest blessi

Look to this day !

One should not mourn over the past and should not remain worried about the future. The wise operate in present. Wise people always say : Live in now. Life is all in today. But human nature is complicated. We regret over the past or envision about future. In all affairs, we miss the joy of today. When we regret yesterday, we offspring unease. When we envisage tomorrow, we descend worry. Our repentance or anxiety is not going to make any difference. Even it spoils our present. If I have distressed feeling about my past or anxious feeling about future, it makes me upset in present. So never muddle in past and puzzle in future. When we bring our attention in the present moment with positive attitude, life starts. All power, all energy, all attention, when we bring in

Be filled with thankful love

Once two men met with an accident. With blessing of almighty they were saved but both lost one of the eyes. Situation was traumatic and painful. Relatives were coming to meet both of them for consolation. And behaviour of both the men was noticeable. One of them was crying a lot. He was full of distress due to his loss. He complained a lot for his grief. He was cursing God for his desolation. He tormented his mind with misery. He was full of sorrow and sadness. While one was very happy as his one eye was saved. He thanked a lot for his recovery. He was blessing God to be saved. He was smiling in such pain. He elated his mind with gratefulness. He was full of joy and mirth. Same is the situation at both sides. But one is complaining and one is blessing. It’s a state of mind that makes a vital variance. What I think and feel is my inner main. An immense truth to know is : I have freedom to choose my thinking. I am not a victim. I can direct my thoughts. It’s an abili

Songs of joy

In this age of crises, in these days of discomfort, everyone is craving for joy. We may try to find it in outer world. And when we fail to attain it; we grieve, we grumble. Our heart fills with gloom. In such dryness and dreariness, this poem fills internal jollity. Whatever the situation is, however the happening does, sing a song of joy and mirth. To be happy is an inside job, never outside. When we realize it, we can develop positive understanding of life. We can not control the outer circumstance. It is beyond our reach. But definitely we can control our inner circumstance. It is within our reach. In any condition, we have a choice; weather to be gloomy or to be jolly. So why to choose negative. Choose to gay and glee. Youth has a concern with mental state. When we have spirited thoughts, we are young. Why to think negative and worried about death in young days. Death is celestial and heavenly. Greed and hunger makes a man slave of passions. What we enjoy makes ric

Meet everyday with joy

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. Towards life, how my attitude is? Do I perceive it with a negative mindset or do I perceive it with a positive one?  Do I pursue a day with complaints or do I pursue a day with blessings? The quality of perception defines the experience. The amount of mental energy spent is the same. But the result differs. One makes us miserable and one makes us worthy. It’s completely due to outlook.  So let’s look inside. Let’s sublime within. God has gifted the freedom to choose. I am not a victim. Thinking is the greatest blessing. Let me be aware of my power. I can direct my thoughts. I can choose positive over negative. I can choose hope over despair. I can choose faith over doubt. Here is a wonderful short poem. It teaches; how to take up a day? To open my eyes with gratitude. To greet a day with reverence. To approach work with holiness. To meet difficulty with hope and faith. To act for the ultimate purpose of life. To meet people

Playthings

Life is a game; play it. Do we really feel it ? We forget it when we live. In making money, in building bungalow, in gathering lumps of gold; we forget that it’s too a play. Here is a little sweet poem that makes us realize: Life is a play. Everything is a play and articles we get are toys that God has gifted us. A little child is playing in dust with broken twig; still happy in play. We live in luxury and still unhappy with all. If a child will see us he will tell us that what a stupid game we are playing. He will refuse to spoil his morning with such pebbles. Actually we have forgotten the art of being absorbed in a play of sticks and mud. We seek costly playthings. We don’t satisfy in havings. We crave for things and rush after them. Out of experience we realize that they are unobtainable. Ultimately we lose happiness of life. It’s called an ocean of desire in philosophy. In a frail canoe, I am struggling to cross it. In hassle I forget that this life is a play and pl
